For this project, SEPPES supplied a customized set of automatic high speed doors for a precision industrial manufacturing facility. The site included several functional areas with different requirements, including general workshop entrances, equipment rooms, and controlled production zones. Instead of using one standard door solution for all openings, the project required multiple door configurations to match traffic frequency, cleanliness control, safety protection, and on-site automation needs.
Project Background
In modern manufacturing plants, door systems are no longer used only for simple access control. They also affect production efficiency, environmental separation, safety management, and maintenance costs. In this case, the customer needed fast-opening industrial doors for different workshop areas where personnel, carts, equipment, and production materials pass through frequently.
The original door conditions in some areas could no longer fully meet the needs of daily production. In particular, one equipment room had an old fast door affected by oil contamination, which required replacement with a cleaner, more stable, and easier-to-operate solution. Other areas needed new high-speed access points with better safety devices and automatic opening methods.
Based on the actual operating environment, SEPPES provided several sets of automatic high speed doors, including brush high speed doors and stainless steel zipper high speed doors.

Door Solutions Provided
The project included multiple customized high speed doors for different areas:
For the controlled production area, SEPPES provided four brush high speed doors and three stainless steel zipper high speed doors. These doors used 2.5 mm white anti-static curtain material, helping reduce static-related risks in sensitive manufacturing environments. The white curtain design also matched the clean, bright appearance of the workshop.
For another workshop area, SEPPES supplied two high speed doors with orange curtain fabric and seamless galvanized steel frames. These doors were designed for frequent traffic and fast separation between production zones. The orange curtain improves visibility and helps workers quickly identify the door position in a busy industrial space.
For the equipment room, SEPPES replaced an oil-contaminated fast door with a new yellow high speed door. The door used a seamless galvanized steel frame and was equipped with a safety bottom edge, ground magnetic induction, double safety photoelectric sensors, double-sided three-button control, and a single-sided audible and visual alarm. This configuration improved both operating convenience and safety awareness around the doorway.

Key Configurations
One important feature of this project was the customized control method. Different openings were equipped with different activation systems according to their actual usage.
Some doors were configured with ground magnetic induction, allowing vehicles or carts to trigger the door automatically when approaching. This reduces manual operation and improves traffic efficiency. In workshop environments where workers often carry tools or materials, automatic opening can make daily movement smoother and safer.
Several doors were also equipped with double-sided three-button control panels. This gives operators direct control for opening, closing, and stopping the door from both sides of the opening. For areas requiring quick manual access, this is a practical and reliable control option.
In addition, radar sensors and audible-visual alarms were used in specific areas. Radar activation is suitable for frequent pedestrian or vehicle movement, while alarms help remind nearby personnel when the door is operating, especially in equipment rooms or areas with limited visibility.
Safety Protection Design
Safety was a major requirement throughout the project. SEPPES equipped the doors with safety bottom edges and double safety photoelectric sensors. When an obstruction is detected during closing, the safety system helps prevent collision and reduces the risk of injury or damage.
For a manufacturing facility with complex movement around entrances, this type of safety configuration is essential. Workers, carts, forklifts, and production equipment may all pass near the door. A fast door must not only open and close quickly, but also respond reliably when unexpected obstacles appear.
The use of double safety photoelectric sensors further improves detection coverage. Combined with the bottom safety edge, the door system provides multiple layers of protection for daily operation.

Why Automatic High Speed Doors Were Suitable
The customer chose automatic high speed doors because the site required fast access, reliable sealing, and safer operation. Compared with traditional industrial doors, high speed doors can reduce waiting time at entrances and help keep different workshop areas separated.
For production environments, every opening and closing cycle matters. A slow door can interrupt workflow, increase air exchange, and reduce productivity. A high speed door improves traffic continuity while helping maintain a cleaner and more stable working environment.
In areas where cleanliness or static control is important, the anti-static curtain and stainless steel zipper door structure provide additional value. In areas with frequent vehicle movement, automatic activation and safety sensors help create a more efficient access solution.
Installation Result
After installation, the doors matched the actual layout and working conditions of the facility. The orange and yellow high speed doors provided clear visual identification in workshop and equipment areas, while the white anti-static doors suited the cleaner production zones.
The completed project demonstrated SEPPES’ ability to provide tailored door solutions for different industrial spaces within one facility. Instead of simply supplying standard products, SEPPES adjusted the curtain material, frame structure, opening method, and safety configuration according to each doorway’s function.
