Optimized Measurement Guidelines

  • Measure all dimensions indoors at a minimum of three points to account for irregularities.

  • H (Doorway Height):
    – Distance from floor to ceiling of the opening
    – Record the maximum of your three measurements

  • B (Doorway Width):
    – Distance from left to right edge of the opening
    – Record the maximum of your three measurements

  • h (Headroom):
    – Distance from the top of the opening to the ceiling
    – Record the minimum of your three measurements (typically ≥ 600 mm)

  • b₁ / b₂ (Side Clearances):
    – Distance from each side of the opening to the nearest obstacle
    – Record the minimum of your three measurements
    – Ensure ≥ 500 mm clearance on the motor side and ≥ 200 mm on the opposite side
