Four Main Lift Types For Sectional Roller Shutter Doors
Standard Lift
The most common type, used when sufficient standard headroom is available above the door opening. Most of the door rests horizontally under the ceiling when open.
High Lift
Used when there is ample headroom. The door travels vertically higher before turning horizontally, maximizing clear space above the opening when the door is up.
Vertical Lift
Requires very high headroom (at least the door height plus clearance). The door travels straight up vertically, resting directly above the opening when fully open.
Low Headroom Lift
Specifically designed for installations with extremely limited headroom. Often uses special tracks (like a double-track system) and rear-mounted torsion springs to minimize the required overhead space.
